Ready to take your dog's training to the next level? Bronze Life Skills is our 6 week group dog training class designed to build on the foundations of our Puppy Life Skills class, or as the perfect entry point for dogs over 5 months old who haven't had any formal training yet. Whether you are picking things back up after puppyhood or starting fresh with a rescue or older dog, Bronze Life Skills gives you and your dog the skills and confidence to enjoy everyday life together. Over 6 fun and practical weeks we focus on the real world skills that make a genuine difference, the kind that make walks something to look forward to rather than something to dread. Here is what we cover: Loose lead walking — Building a dog who chooses to walk alongside you rather than pulling ahead. Recall — Breaking down a reliable recall into simple steps that hold even around distractions. Attention and focus around distractions — Keeping your dog's attention on you when the world gets exciting, practiced every week in a real life environment. Leave it and disengagement — Teaching your dog to choose you over the things that tempt them most. Preventing jumping up — A easy to use method of preventing your dog from jumping up when greeting new people! A cool but useful trick — Because training should be fun! Something new and practical to wow your friends and family next time they visit. Each week builds on the last with exercises progressing as your dog's skills develop. After every session you will receive written notes and a homework guide so you know exactly what to practice at home and how to do it. No guesswork, just a clear and simple plan to follow. We finish the course with a fun challenge week where you get to put everything you have learned to the test in a series of activities that celebrate just how far you and your dog have come. It is one of our favourite sessions of the whole course! Sessions take place in our large, fully enclosed private field at the beautiful River Hamble Country Park . We keep class sizes small so that every team gets plenty of attention and support from our qualified trainers throughout the course. Every dog works at a comfortable distance from the others, making Bronze Life Skills a great option for dogs who are still building their confidence around other dogs too.
