Service Description

Our Total Recall Masterclass is a one-hour practical session designed to help you understand what really drives your dog’s recall and how to strengthen it using reward-based, real-world training techniques. We follow the Coast and Country Canines Roadmap to Total Recall, taking you step by step from choosing the right rewards, through clear cue pairing, to practising recall around distance and distractions in a supportive, controlled environment. What we’ll cover: You’ll learn how to: - Identify what genuinely motivates your dog, beyond just food - Choose and condition a recall cue that your dog responds to reliably - Build strong engagement through check-ins and recall games - Practice recall with distance and distractions without setting your dog up to fail - Avoid common recall mistakes that weaken your dog’s response over time The session is hands-on and interactive, with plenty of opportunity to practice exercises all of which have been designed to be fun and engaging for both you and your dog. Each exercise is explained clearly so you understand not just what to do, but why it works and how to apply it out on walks. Who is this class for? This class is ideal for: - Dogs who are selective listeners or slow to return when called - Owners who want to understand how to motivate their dog to return to them - Dogs who get distracted by people, dogs, smells or the environment - Anyone looking to rebuild or future-proof their recall skills Dogs remain on long lines throughout, making this a safe and supportive way to practice recall without risking unwanted run-offs. What you’ll leave with: By the end of the session you’ll have: - A clear recall plan tailored to your dog - Practical games you can immediately use at home and on walks - A better understanding of how to keep recall fun, rewarding and reliable - Confidence in when and how to practise recall in real-life situations If you’re ready to stop hoping your dog comes back and start training for it, this masterclass will give you the tools to do exactly that. Important points: - Your dog must be fit and healthy to participate - Your dog must be fully vaccincated or titre tested to attend - This class is not suitable for fearful and/or dogs who are reactive in the form of barking, lunging or growling at other dogs or humans.
