This 6-week course taps into your dog’s incredible natural ability to sniff and search. Scent work isn’t just about finding hidden scents it’s about building focus, confidence, and teamwork. It provides a brilliant outlet for energetic or easily overexcited dogs, helping them channel that enthusiasm into a calm, rewarding task that leaves them mentally and physically satisfied. Scent work is suitable for all breeds and ages from puppies to seniors, and especially for rescue dogs or dogs who need a job to do. It’s one of the most effective ways to provide enrichment, reduce frustration, and strengthen the bond between you and your dog. You’ll learn how to read your dog’s subtle body language, when to offer guidance, and when to step back and let them take the lead. Each dog-and-handler team will have their own individual turn to search while others observe and learn, keeping the group atmosphere relaxed and supportive. Sessions are kept small to ensure plenty of individual coaching time. When you’re not searching, you’re welcome to enjoy a quiet stroll around the field or watch others and learn from their dogs’ techniques.
